If you are wanting to buy new, Grice Gun Shop in Clearfield, PA. is advertising them in one of their flyers. They are offering the 700 SPS Varmint in 17 Fireball for $539, the 700 VTR for $649, the 700 VSF for $729, the 700 VSSF for $1039, and the Model Seven Predator for $649. All in 17 Rem. Fireball.
I bought the SPS Varmint a couple of years ago, and it shoots great. 0.250" group @ 100 yds....3 shot. Factory 17 Rem. Fireball ammo.
You may try the website at www.gricegunshop.com, or the phone no. is 814-765-9273.
I don't work there...I just do some business there, and get their flyers.
The sale for this flyer is over 3/26/09.

thanks for the tip PA wildman! i appreciate it. the only thing for me to have it shipped here, and pay the ffl fee for a new gun is 100$ at my local gun shop. im better off asking them to get me same rifle in similar price range. for a new one ofcourse.

They claim (or used to) that they are the biggest gun dealer East of the Mississippi River. Factory reps are there for special sales, etc. They have a Ding & Dent room that has nothing but brand new guns that have some minor imperfection on them from shipping, handling, etc., as well as probably almost any NIB firearm you could want. Clothing, accessories, boots, safes, you name it....they've probably got it. Their warehousing abilities are fantastic. Some place..... You could probably contact them thru e-mail and ask to be put on their flyer list if you want....I'm sure they'd do that.. Last time I was there ( a couple of weeks ago) I'll bet you they had over 200 rifles, shotguns and handguns in the USED section.....
