I was offered a Remington 700 BDL in .270, open sights, fully covered in Mossy Oak bottomland camo for $400.00.Had a chance to"open" it and look everything over and seems to be in 90%+ rangecondition wise.Just wanted everyone's opinion on the deal? Is it a take it or leave it?

Its not a "steal" but its not a bad deal by any means. I paid 500 for a 700bdl in .270 with a simmons atec on it in 97-98% condition,but that was about 10 years ago too. I would say your deal would be fair for both sides.

In my area that is adecent deal. You could check out Gunbroker for something similar and see what they are selling for. I would probably wave $350 under the owners nose to see if they would bite.

Seems a bit high (but not bad). I agree with VA huntr... offer $350. At worst, maybe he'll split the difference and let her go for $375.
