Default FN 5.7X28

I know this has probally been gone over onhere ,But I went to my bud's shop yesterday and fondled the FN 5.7. I am not sure what to do with it yet ......LOL It seems to be quite the piece judging by the looks of the ammo.Light ,powerful ,very high capacity ,low recoil. For $1095 it may find a place with me.If they build something on an AR platform and maybe a heavy barrel bolt gun in this round it might be pretty cool. What are you guy's thoughts on this thing?

I have an FN 5.7 and I love mine.I have only had it since xmas and put 100rnds down the barrel, but its very accurate and an awsome shooter. You sure can put alot of rounds on target quick with it.Im useing mine as a carry weapon.I like a full size gun anyway,so its not a problem. With the velocity it has and the power that rivals a 9mm and exceeds it with some loads,it is a good gun and cartridge. Some people will say that its just a over priced 22,well those are the ones who havn't shot it or are ignorant to the ballistics of the caliber.I got mine from Bass Pro on sale for $929,brand new in the box.

They do make an AR upper:

I've been tossing around the idea of getting one to play with...........
