RE: 300 ultra Mag ???
P.S. I'M NOT SURE IF I HAD IT TO DO ALL OVER AGAIN IF WOULD GET THE BREAK, IT'S KICK IS AROUND THE SAME AS MY 270, BUT EAR DRUM BLEEDING LOUD! MY BUDDY HAS ONE WITH OUT THE BREAK AND THE KICK IS REALY NOT THAT BAD, AND SHOOTS JUST AS WELL WITH THE FEDERAL BULLETS BUT NOT WITH THE REM.

RE: 300 ultra Mag ???
I bought the 300 RUM back in 99 when it first came out. It's a Remington 700 BDL. It shoots 1/2", three shot groups at 100 yrds. using factory ammo. This is right out of the box.
The recoil is severe but you only need one shot to put down most any animal you'ld run into.
