I used to use the 165 gr. interbond factory loaded ammo. The ammo was real accurate and worked well on deer.

Hornady is a great brand and most guns seem to shoot them well. They are great on game, but so is the core-lokt. I don't think you will be disappointed if you start using them.

Ihave shot both types from my rifle, both very accurate, and results were dead deer. I would give the edge to the Core-lokt. Shoot what your gun likes and hit the vitals. Result will be dead deer...

Last season I used Winchester Supreme 150gr. Ballistic Tips, also very accurate, but gave no blood trail; I didn't lose an animal, andI switched to the Core-lokts for that reason.IMO,for the money they are hard to beat.

My gun seems to be very picky on ammo. Not that it will jam but that it doesn't group well. For some reason Federal Fusions are the only ones I've got to group like I want. Winchester Soft Points and Silvertips do okay. I could not get the Ballisitc Silvertips to shoot well at all in mine. I haven't tried Hornady shells but mine doesn't like Remingtons either. Not sure why it's soo picky.

What velocity are you looking for? If you're talking about shooting 150 grain bulletsat 2900 fpsin a .30-'06, there's no need for a bonded bullet. If it's > 3300 fpsin a 7mm STW, I'd go with the Interbond.

Within their velocity parameters, they're both well thought-of bullets.
