.223 Ammo..???
Tried to order some .223 ammo in bulk from one of the mail order houses the other day. Back ordered until March. Went to a local sporting goods store this AM. Six boxes left... $30.00 a box!!! Yikes!!! I guess the AR 15 craze is driving prices and availability, but this just seems rediculous. None of the other comparable sized cartridges are anywhere near these prices. Crazy.......

Hey Don-yall got any wal-marts up there? They have Remington 55 gr fmj for 9.97 a box of twenty, but also they have the bulk packs which makes it cheaper per round. Neil

I was lucky enough to find 700 rds of pretty decent 223 yesterday, paid 330shipped. Its like that with everything now, and getting worse everyday, all calibers ,loaded ammo, and components are drying up fast![:@]

That's robbery and I probably would have told him that. And I think you are right. The AR style rifles are flying off the shelves everywhere. I'm sure glad I reload. I have about 1000 + rounds.

This whole situation makes me sick to my stomach.
However I do not think Obama is going to be our biggest problem. Our biggest problem is going to be a Congress controlled entirely by PELOSI and REID. Those two are a NIGHTMARE. And now the problem we have with the Presidency is that Obama will sign anything those two send him. Tom. |
