Default Recoil pad for a Weatherby

Ok so I am getting my Weatherby Sportster set up this month and I need a new recoil pad. I bought the pad that limbsaver recommended but it didn't fit. So my questions is.

What recoil pad did you put on your Weatherby?
Was it precision fit or grindable?
What was the model number?

I think the weatherbys come with the pachmayer decellerator on them. check here for fit. Look at the template link. I think its actual size. You just print it and cut it out and see if it fits your gun. http://www.cabelas.com/cabelas/en/templates/links/link.jsp?id=0016465225373a&type=product&cm Cat=SEARCH_all&returnPage=search-results1.jsp&Ntt=recoil+pads&Ntk=Products& amp;sort=all&_D%3AhasJS=+&N=0&_D%3Asor t=+&Nty=1&hasJS=true&_DARGS=%2Fcabelas %2Fen%2Fcommon%2Fsearch%2Fsearch-box.jsp.form1&_dyncharset=ISO-8859-1#chart

Otherwise you may need to have it fit to the gun by a smithy

If the recommended pad don't fit, it's likely for a different model. Just get the grind to fit to be sure, it's easy to do, just go slow & careful.

That's what I think I will do.
