RE: on the subject of hunting with handguns
I much prefer SA' s, I hate the grip frame on most DA' s, they translate all wrong, I can' t snap shoot with them to save my life. Auto' s are out of the question, buy the time you get a round that is stout enough to do the job, your gun weighs 5 pounds unloaded and is so big you might as well have a rifle!

RE: on the subject of hunting with handguns
i agree with you on the auto pistols there , any that are powerful enough are extremely large like the wildey , lar grizzly , desert eagle ,
one other reason i like single actions is that i feel they have a more rigid or stronger frame in the barrel area , double action revolvers only have half as mush in that area as half of it is cut away so it can swing out the chambers , and they do seem to have a more comfortable grip when held in my hand or at least to me they feel that way , just my personal opinions guys , i like doubles and auto' s but as stated above i just feel single actions lend themselves better to hunting use and i' m talking in factory direct shape , not altered with regard to grip type or trigger pull , factory stock :D:D:D:D |

Dan Wesson DA are my pick followed by the TC Contender in 35 Remmington. Ruger DA' s will always be a favorite as well.

i like those dan wesson revolvers too , especially the ones in the hunting cartridges , like the .445 supermag , the .375 supermag , and the pistol packs that include several different barrels and scope mounts too .
