Default If you were to sell????

if you were to sell a remington 700 bdl 30-06 in excellent condition.. comes with rings but no scope....what would you ask for it???

Hmm.. I do not know what they go for used.. but I do know the msrp is $900 new... and just today I was at a local gun shop and seen a usedaRem 700 .243with $725 on the tag.

thanks for the input... i was thinkin if i traded it in i would prolly get around 500....... if i sell out right i dont think i could find someone willin to give 600 or better

Go to gunbroker.com and price a few of them. This will give you a good idea of what the market is.

............Locally here in Western PA I see them WITH scopes going for somewhere around $475 in good condition. Local market conditions vary.....

Guess again, Unless it is unfired or something special there won't be anyone that will give $500 for a trade in value on a used gun. That being said they will buy it from you cheap and sell it at full market value. You would be better served to sell it privately and conduct a legal transfer per local ordnance.

In excellent condition, I only get about $450 for them. I have gotten $500 for em.

I sold 2 700s and a model 7 on gun broker, all went for the "buy now" price, in the 1st few days of the 1st auction. Remys and winnys sell quick! Savages and rugers sit around forever.
