Limbsaver on Remington 700 7mm
Anyone installed a limbsaver actually made for the Remington 700?
I think that the model number is 10111 or 10112.
I'm wondering how much length it adds to the gun.
My 7mm has the stock recoil which is just a metal back and it kicks like a mule so I'm thinking about adding a limbsaver but wondering about the length it will be adding and how it will affect looking through my scope.

It all depends on your length of pull, put it on and see how it feels, if it adds too much length cut the stock back the length of the pad and re-fit. If your not comfortable doing it take it to a gunsmith to have it done.

If your worried about that, you could always just take the gun and have the barrell ported.... I did that to my 7 and it made a word of difference in the kick...... much easier on the shoulder.
