Default Which scope/mounts for 11-87 cantilever barrel?

I'm getting ready to purchase the SP Cantilever Rifled Barrel for my Remington 11-87. I currently have the RemChoke barrel installed that came with it. I'll be mounting a Nikon ProStaff scope in either the 2-7X32 Nikoplex or the 3-9X40 Nikoplex. Which scope would you guys mount on a slug gun? Also, which scope mount will fit this barrel?

If it is a cantilever barrel, you don't need a mount, just the rings. I have almost the same set up you do. I used Burris Signature rings and mounted a Nikon Slughunter 3-9X40 scope. I have has 0 problems with it. Good luck.

That's right! I didn't even think about that. Thanks for knocking the stupid out of me.

FWIW-I put a Bushnell Red Dot on my Mberg 835.Gets on target even faster than my 1-4.This one has a small tube so it's not the best in low light but it weighs next to nothing and combined with the ultra quick target acquisition makes up for it chasing whitey in heavy cover.

Plus one on the Burris Signature rings. I use them on a Rem 700 with a Warne mount. Specifically look at the Burris Signature Zee Ring Weaver style.
