I had one for about a month and I put probly 200 rnds through it and it never gave me any problems.I loved that little gun,it was a blast to shoot.I had the one with a 3.4 in barrel and it isn't going to be no squrriel gun but is a blast to shoot.I don't know how accurate the 5 in barreled ones are.I only got rid of it because I traded it for an AK-47.As soon as I get money saved up im gonna buy another one.I'd highly reccomend it.But don't get the 3.4 in barreled one if your wanting accuracy!

I have one of the short barreled ones. I shoot it more than any other gun I have. I screw my can on and out to the back yard almost every day. It's not a target gun by any means, but it is still a lot of fun. I also think it's a good hand gun to start young ones on just because of it's size. Rimfirecentral has more information on these things than you could care to know. A fellow that goes by M1911 seems to pretty much have them figured out.

Awsome little guns!! I have one and I shoot it all the time. Very good shooting guns. I have both barrels for mine and the 5" is actually very accurate. The magazines are super easy to load and it's very reliable.

I bought a used P22 for my then 9 year old daughter about 2 or 3 years ago. She's now 12 and still loves to go to the gun range and shoot "her" gun. The only problem I had with mine is that it won't shoot in double-action-only mode. I left it with a reputable gunsmith for close to a year and he worked on it off and on but was never able to get it to work. Doesn't really matter as it's just a range gun for my daughter. Guess that's what I get for not knowing enough about used guns to check it out extensively.

Anyway, the P22 has been quite reliable and has worked with several different brands of ammo that I've bought, mainly Remington 'Golden Bullet' bulk packs and Federal bulk ammo. I've read various posts about the P22 being picky with ammo, but I haven't experienced that with ours.

It's a great little plinker IMO.
