I was thinking about buyin a rifled shotgun barrel for my encore for next season and i was wondering how accurate they are and how far out are they accurate.

While they SHOULD be as accurate as almost any other slug gun except perhaps solid reciever/barrel bolt actions,there's NO way to know for sure until you get 1 and experiment with several different loads (as many as possible)to see which YOUR barrel/gun prefers-same as any rifle.

I have been thinking about doing the same thing. I hope a few experienced people chime in on this one. I was also wondering if the 12 or 20 would be better?? Tom.

All I can say is that of the encore rifled barrels I've seen,all were pretty accurate. But you HAVE to experiment to see which they prefer as these owners did.
