As for the M14... Is it still the dominant force at the National Matches? I thought that the .223 AR's had taken over, even in the long range matches.
Even one of the last holdouts for the M14, the USMC Rifle Team, has gone to the poodleshooter.
The M14 has some advantages over the AR-15, but for the most part, if you can shoot a M14 well you can shoot an AR-15 better, unless you have vision problems where the longer sight radius on the m14 comes into play.

Congrats to my lil gurl, killin a doe at 80yrds with her .223...it went 20 yards and dropped dead!!!!! in a shoulder out the ribcage
