I've been trying to sell a Tikka t3 stainless/syn 270WSM it has a Leupold Rifleman 4x12x40, leupold rings and bases, sling, 2 boxes of shells and, soft case for 600.00 is that to much? The rifle is like new very well taken care. I dont use it ever just an impulse buy.

The price is right BUT the round it is chamberd for is not popular and prob wont be around long so your going to have trouble selling it.

No your not asking to much. People are just having a tough time with money right now. Try posting it on www.predatormasters.com. I would love to have it, but if I bought another rifle right now, I'd be in trouble with the wife!

Edit- Did you post a pic with your add? If you are trying to do it FTF that can also slow down your sale. Good luck!

A FTF sale will probably take longer but if you advertise on some hunting websites, I bet you could sale it pretty quick. IMO your price is reasonable. You could offer to sale with or without the scope. As to the post about the 270 WSM not being popular, last I read270 WSM sales were second only to the 300 WSM.

Not trying to start a burn or war here but I have no interest in WSM cartridges.

Just providing some feedback.

No, you are not asking too much. Especially with the scope that's on it!

As to whether the .270 WSM will be around long, for a handloader, that is of no consequence at all. If one suspects that a currently available round will soon be off the market, all one need do is buy a thousand empty, new cases right now! Otrherwise one might end up having to neck down the .300WSM or the 7mmWMS to get brass. Gee, that's hard!!

Yeah the 270wsm sells like crazy around here for some reason. The 7mm wsm is the one thats not doing so well.
