Default A little history

Just a little quote one of my buddies e-mailed me. Thought some of you guys might want to see it.

To quote the Japanese Admiral that led the attack on Pearl Harbor
>during World War II, he was asked why he didn't continue the attack
>deep into American, and he was quoted as saying that "it would be a
>failed mission because too many civilians owned guns."*

Imagine what would have happened if our fathers and grandfathers wouldn't have had guns. If we allow all of the anti's to get the ball further rolling on gun control we are setting our kids and grandkids up to fail!!

I was not aware of that statement by Admiral Nagumo. Or was it Yamamoto? Yamamoto spent quite some time as the Naval Attache in Washington D.C. before the war. (He was a great poker p[layer!!) When he went home to Japan, at his farewell party the Americans, to honor him, presented him with a beautifl Colt Model 1911A1 .45 to take home with him!

At the begnning of WWII< when the Brits thought the Krauts were going to invade the home islands, they begged Americans to donate guns to help arm their home guard. Many thousands of guns were given to them by us. After the war ended, and there was no need for them, they bastards collected them all. and dumped them in the ocean!

Next time, they can just beg!!

The leader was Yamamoto. I believe Admiral Nagumo was in charge of the task force(and his flagship was the Soryu?? possibly the Hiryu??). But Yamamoto was the supreme commander(as well as the main planner). And Yamamoto's most famous quote was "I believe we have awoken a sleeping giant". Tom.

I know I can't believe some of the people (even some on this site) Don't understand what could happen in this country if all of this "gun control" gets passed.
