What is your favorite gun that you own and why.
Mine is my Marlin 1895 M 450. I love this gun because it is so compact and light and easy to carry in the big woods that I hunt. Not to mention that this big little gun is a tack driver. I can clover leaf 3 bullets at 100 yrds every time that I go to the range. It does a heck of a job in the field too. This thing spits out a 325 grain Hornady Leverevolution bulet at 2250 FPS: so you know when you pull the trigger, but it isn't as bad as it may sound. The porting certainly helps. Works great where I hunt.

I think my SS savage 116(30.06)- light, easy to carry&to care for synthetic stock - i dont have to worry about scratching & dingingany wood up . It aLSOshoots great & onLY cost $250. Also the Ruger gp 100-.357- same reasons.

It's a toss up between my 7mm.Rem.Mag Vanguard and the Marlin 925R .22 I just picked up for an incredible deal! They are both amazing for their price. Super crisp triggers, very accurate and as Knightia said, the synthetic stocks are nice for the no worries factor.

One? Tough question...overall, I'd say my Ruger #1 in .405 Winchester. Haven't even chambered a cartridge in it but to me it's a perfect example of a classic, and classy, rifle in a classic chambering. Quite capable of any game (as demonstarted by T.R.).

A couple of years ago I had 40+ and now 25 and I really favor the Ruger 6.5mmSwede for my go to rifle...

My current favorite is my Rem 700 SS Mtn rifle. It only weights 6.5lbs and is extremely accurate.

It's funny...but mine is probably the least expensive gun I own. I'd have to say my S&W 22A semi auto pistol. It has a 4X scope on it and it's a blast for squirrels when I'm bowhunting...
