A lot of shooters on the Hunting channel use them so they must be worthwhile.

I am not sure about that item, but there Recoil pads are great. They take the sting out of those magnums!

It depends on what you are wanting to do with it...

If you are looking to shrink 3 shot groups at the local range .... sure, it will help....

If you are wanting to make the gun more accurate on game, ..... not gonna help.

a sighted in gun is sighted in .... which gives it its accuracy.... a barrel deresonator can not make it more sighted in.

And I have never fired a 3 shot group at a deer ... 1 shot and done.

Hope this helps..

MET

I have the limbsaver recoil pad and the barrel deresonator on my 30-06. The recoil pad helped the most, and if I spent more time with the deresonator I imagine it would help more too. From what I understand, you're supposed to find the "sweet spot" on the barrel for it by shooting a group, then sliding the deresonator, and shooting another group until you find the spot where you get the best group.

I never did that, I just put it where I thought it looked best.

Too funny...

One of these days I'm gonna "invent" some goofy little thing that all pie-eye'd gadget getters will break down the doors for...then I'll be a richsumbitch.

Trouble is, I can't get my brain into a low enough gear to think of one............

On a serious note, Good Barrels will shoot with a properly tuned load, bad barrels will still shoot bad.
