Take a look at the " 2003 Gun Digest" and on page 483 they give some info. on different muzzle brake choices. Good luck.

Checkout the new Sims recoil pads,they have a web site but don' t remember what it is.might work better than a break???

I think Pachmyer (sp) makes a recoil reduction system. It' s a Mercury filled tube that installs inside the stock to absorb the recoil.

it might take a combination of a brake with a good recoil reduction system or if possible trade to a lower calliber.

Muzzle brakes will save on the recoil felt but will also do a number on your ears. I would go with a recoil pad.

Some shooting ranges are not allowing muzzle breaks on their firing lines. Something to consider.
