Does anybody have the Remington Titanium? And if so what caliber? just curious how accurate they are I think it would be a great rifle to carry all-day long or hunting in the mountains

yes I own A remington titanium in 30-06, and it is a pleasure to carry all day. as for accuracy it is good, provided the shooter can handle the recoil. my rifle likes 180 grain bullets. Abit of advice is to invest in a good recoil pad.

I have a rem titanium in 270. This is an awesome gun - I have Millet alum. bases and rings and a 3x9 Zeiss scope - about 7 1/2 lbs. I have so far found it to shoot about 3/4" to 1" at 100 yards with cheap factory ammo. I am working up some handloads to tune it in a bit further. The 270 recoil is not bad, the factory recoil pad seems to absorb well.

Thank you for the replies. Do they make it in other calibers like the 300 UM? Sounds like that might be too much kick but with a decelerator device it might be pretty good.

I' ve got the titanium in 06 and the recoil is fine. Very impressed with it' s accuracy now - shooting just over 1/2 inch groups at 100 with 150 gr corelocks factory. 165 kick a little harder but not really noticable. Deer get the worst of it! Have a Zeise 3.5/10 on it and it handles beautifully. My first Remington and after years with Sako and Winchester, I' m impressed.
