Are these good semi-auto' s? Reliable?

Yes, very good shotguns. They are very light and slim, which makes for a fast pointing and easy carrying shotgun. The down side is due to their light weight, the recoil is more noticable. But they are reliable. I only know of one that has come thru our shop in 12 years, and that one had a broken trigger. I like them so much, I bought my wife a 20ga Franchi for her birthday a month ago. She is on the smallish side, 5-2 & 108 lbs, and after I shorten the stock 1.25" for her, it fits her like a glove. We ran a half case of shells thru it the other week at the range, shooting clays, and had not a single malfunction.
