RE: Trigger Job, I' m impressed!
A competent gunsmith can help you w/o buying a new trigger assy. if it hasn' t been touched up before. Both my Rugers are sweet now.

As Basserman said, a good gunsmith can do wonders with the trigger that you already have! My 7MM Rem. mag has gone from 2 1/2 inch groups to a little over 1 inch groups!
After all this time, I found out that it wasn' t really me or a gun/scope problem! It' s just really hard NOT to jerk an 8+ pound trigger! This was the best and cheapest shooting lesson I' ve ever had! I can' t wait to get my .308 back! Frank |
RE: Trigger Job, I' m impressed!
I hear you, on my two primary hunting rifles, I replaced the stock triggers with Timney sportsmans and left the pull weight at the factory settings and watched my groups shrink.

RE: Trigger Job, I' m impressed!
I sure wish I knew a good gunsmith. I live in a fairly remote part of Alaska. How could I hook up with a gunsmith from the lower 48 to send my gun to?

nolonger, web, I' d tell you to send it to me but I can' t keep up now and its a pain to ship. Shipping to Lower 48 and the work would be expensive. I know there are smiths in Alaske. Search the web to see. |
