The Most Popular Bullet Manufacturer.........Is??
On this forum, for you reloaders, and non reloaders. What is the most popular bullet (aka - most used by you)?
I know not all the bullet manufacturers are on that list, but I could only do ten at a time.
I wanted to post this in the reloading forum, but they must not allow Polls in there?
Also, please tell what bullet you picked, and what you use it for the most.

I use which ever one shoots best out of a particular rifle. I don't have a favorite or one that I like over others. As long as the bullet is built for the job I want it to do and shoots good then I will use it. Itry tostart out with the least expensive and go from there.
IfI can get a Remington Corelokt to shoot under an inch andI am going to be hunting deer then that's all I need. Same would go for elk but with a heavier constructed bullet.

I was objective on this one.
I went upstairs to the cave and counted how many of my hunting rifles I have worked up loads for and what bullets I use with each one. I have more than one choice for each rifle (say a 120 and a 160).... but the overwhelming winner was...
Sierra.
If I were to be subjective....or just go by use.... I'd say in cartridges/bullets/rounds whatever that I personally have reloaded and taken deer/hogs with.... well over half have been Barnes X oras of late TSX bullets. I have two rifles I use most of the time, and I just ran out of Barnes X for the 30/30 Ackley.. and am now using a 170gr Sierra.... my Remingtion 7-08 loves those 120gr TSXs.

I've tried most of the factory loading for deer in my .243...Out of 150 or more deer killed with this rifle about 90 were killed with the Remington CoreLokt 100gr bullet...

I shoot Hornady's mostly LE's in my 30-30 and BTSP in my .270. Now that the price has jumped over $30 a box I might see how my rifle likes Remingtons.
