what is a good yardage to sight in my .22 with?

Most articles I've read say that a 22 used for squirrel hunting should be sighten in at 25 yds. Personally, I sight mine in at 50 yds. Then see where it hits at 25, 35.

Moss, start with 25yards and sight it to the best of your ability (I would assume you are using a scope). Then move your target to 50 yards and practice at that distance. Adjust your sight accordingly. After several rounds, you may want to move out to 75 yards and continue sighting your new gun. Keep in mind that patience, consistent practice, selection of ammo and enviromental conditions will effect your accuracy.
Can we see some pics of your new Savage.

I sight my scoped 541-T in at 50, it's only about 1/4 of an inch high at 25 yards...
I sight my open sighted 552 at 25 yards, cause I can't see well enough past that without a scope to hit a squirrel in the head anymore...[X(]

well i love this gun already
i shot 250 rounds today of federal champion ammo and it is amazingly accurate.
i sighted it in at 50 yards and then put a golf ball out there and a can of pop and destroyed then both with 2 shots. i am shocked at the accuracy of this .22
