You say that this is a light weight rigbut you are wanting to put normal to larger than normal scopes on this rifle. I believe that if you want a light weight rifle then it needs a light weight scope and mounts. If you are going to just put a regular to heavy scope on it then what's the point of buying or building a light weight rifle?

Since you wanting a bigger scope andhigh magnification just get a Bushnell 6500 in 2.5-16X42. These scopes are ultra bright and clear and have exceptional and constant eye relief. These scopes spank the pants of of Leupolds.
