RE: Mossberg Rifles

I have not heard that, and the gun I bought has not shown to have any accuracy issues.

3 shots into 1 1/4 "

I've heard very good things about both of those rifles as well. I don't care if my gun looks pretty as long as it does its job well.

I got it for 3 years now.. synt. 30-06. Shoots well (use with Bushnell Banner scope and Leupold rings). First 2 shots usualy almost touch each other, third usualy just a little off. Few times got all three shots touching, if I let it cool a little. Everage 1-1/2 to 2MOA, but I am not a range guy. Plain, accurate hunting rifle, that I do not care if I scratch or ding in woods (Payed $260 new). It's Light, but you feel more like sharper snap recoil (due to plastic light body) rather than push kick comparing to my wood model seven 7mm saum, do not feel anythign when you hunt anyways.... Triger a little heavier than model 7, but I think not too bad. I shot maybe 3-5 boxes through it, no problems.... I would buy another ATR .308 in wood if I would see one (I just like wood, I do not know why though...)

The only negative reviews I've heard on this gun are concerning the firing pin. I've been told they're cheap and wear out quickly. My brother-in-law has the 100 in 270 and had a mis-fire. Everyone blaimed it on the ammo but who knows.
