Just bought a ruger 10/22
I'm already thinking of putting a bull barrel on it. Does anyone have any brand suggestions or places to buyone from? Also, any other things worth doing to the gun i.e. trigger, bipod etc..?

I repeat the RimfireCentral thing and in just about every forum, especially Rimfire central, try a search before asking questions. It's all been answered before - many times over.
Ok, that being said... Having built a few of these my best advcie is also to decide what you want as a finished product. Going for just a fancy looking yet cheap looker or performance. Second, decide on your budget before you get too far into looking at parts. That'll help prevent overspending due to "that's cool sticker shock reality". From there, happy building.

First get yourself several brands of ammo and take it out. You may be pleasantly surprised how wellthe factory barrel shoots. I had one that you could shoot 5 shots at 50 yds. and cover a them with a dime. Sold it to adealer when I lived in FL for 3X what I bought it for.

I checked out that rimfire central and I was there all last night LOL!! Yeah, I already have an idea that I want the green mountain barrel and a new trigger at least. I may have to buy another one just to keep it stock. Wow, I didn't think this little gun would become an addiction. Thanks guys.
