RE: Remington M 700 VS SF II
I have a LH 700VSF. I am having it rebarreled with a Krieger barrel. My gunsmith and I researched the best rifle to rebarrel, and we came up with this rifle(within a reasonable price). The HS Precision stock is Top Notch Quality, and the aluminum bedding block is solid as a rock.
I know everybody screams accolades about the Savage varmint rifles, but you do not see a HS stock on a Savage. IMO the Remington is worth the little extra money.

i have a vssf ii in 22-250 just had the trigger tuned, barrel recrowned , stock glass bedded and limbsaver recoil pad put on, it shoots great but the trigger sucks, i recommend getting a jewel or timny if you decide to buy this model, mine will shoot 1/2 groups all day but i want it better, my best group to date is 4 out of 5 shots in the same hole with last shot off by about a 1/16".
