on the web site they claim that the 454 has 1900 ft/lb' s of muzzle energy compared to the 500' s 2600 ft/lb' s of muzzle energy. it doesn' t say what the bullet weights were for their projected muzzle energy' s. i like my t/c encore 454 and with some loads it can be quite a handful, but this thing sounds like it may be more than i would llike to fool around with, it definately isn' t for the recoil timid people.

Its in a completely different league than the Casull. It has about the same energy as a .308

www.gunblast.com has some info on the shot Show and in that article they have some picks and i think ballistics. i think they have a 265 @1600+ and a 325 @ 1600+ and a 440hardcast @1600+. sounds to be to be a real bruiser. bigger case than the 500linebaugh. basically the most powerful handgun cartidge in the world. and they showed one with a 4" barrel as well i tihnk
