I am thinking about selling my Remington 700. It is about 5 years old, is chambered in 30-06, and has a synthetic stock. I mounted a Bushnell scope I paid about 150 for. What should I ask for this? I do not particularily likefor the scope. Should I leave it on the rifle and sell as a package or should I take it off and keep the scope for another rifle down the line? What should I ask for with the scope and without? Thanks for your help.

Brand new they can range in price from $340 to well over $1200. Depends on model and condition. Scope is worthless mounted on the gun. If you hope to get anything for it pull it and sell seperately.

ADL. Good condition. I kept it cleaned and there is really nothing dinged or scratched. It had open sights that I had to remove to put the scope on. I filled the holes for the open sights in with screws.

Unfortunately you can find ADL's at Walmart on clearance for 300 bucks.. That is the sad fact but I wouldn't take less then 300 for what you have and I would leave the scope off it as well , just keep that
