Husqvarna 1640 in .30-06. Not that there's anything wrong with the other makes at all. It's just how this one is set up that makes it my favorite. It really is a SWEET action.

I chose my Sako in 300 Wby because it can cover anything I'll hunt. But giving all my guns but one that is just mean lol!

If I could only keep 1 gun, it would be my Browning Gold.

As much as I love my Weatherby Vanguard, I'd choose my T/C Encore to keep for four reasons:

1. It's easy to tune and clean.
2. It's the most accurate gun I own.
3. With this one gun, I can still have multiple barrels chambered in many cartridges for every configuration from rifle, to shotgun, to handgun.

The history of the m16 is interesting.

Is this for self defense or for hunting? Self defense would be my wasr10 and hunting would be my marlin express 308.

As others have pointed out... too many variables. Ammo availability, use, reloading, SHTF, carryability, etc...

All other factors equal, I'd have to say my 1st real gun - Ruger 10/22
