I would have to go with a lot of other here and say, " Just One?" Between my trusty Remington model 722 in a .300 Savage caliber, my SKS' s, AK' s, Rugers, or the Marlin. I would choose the Remington for hunting because it is highly accurate. Other circumstances would require different guns.

If I could only have one gun it would either be a .270 Win. or a .300 Weatherby Mag.

I would go with the Remington Model 710 270 WIN if you are looking for a rifle. This gun is relitively light and is very accurate. It also good for a wide range of big game such as whitetail deer, mule deer, pronghorn, and elk.

If you are looking for a shotgun, I would go with a Remington 870 Express 12 gauge. These are very good shotguns and work for any type of upland game and waterfowl.

Only 1????? You have got to be joking. All right, I' ll humor ya. It would be my Accumark in 270 Weatherby magnum. It shoots frozen rope flat and is more than enough rifle for anything that walks on North America, and most of Africa

Have you all forgot about the winchester model 94 30-30. That is a light gun with power to boot, and ruged as you can get. Time has told the tail of this gun takeing more game than any single model of gun.
