I have a SPS and it is a very good rifle and very accurate its a 243.I have also owned several ADL's and BDL's they are basically the same as the SPS just a little fancier, but just as reliable and accurate.I have never owned a model 7 but I'm pretty sure it's just as good as the 700's.

I have never shot one. But I am sure thinking about buying one of those XCR's. The left handed models are suppose to be coming out real soon. Tom.

I am really happy with my Remington 700xcr. It is a 270wsm. Very accurate.

I like the Model 7..Short easy to handle and shoot really well.

I have an SPS Varmint. Don't particularly care for the looks or the metal finish, but it does shoot well. I'm basically a BDL guy....love nice wood and blued steel. All in all, I think the 700 series are good, dependable and basically accurate guns. JMO...

I HAVE AN XCR, GOOD TRIGGER ON IT. 7MM ... IT'S ONE OF THE FEW RIFLES I ACTUALLY HUNT WITH. I HAVE SEVERAL OTHER REMINGTONS AND THIS IS BY FAR THE BEST I HAVE EVER OWNED.

I have the 700 SPS stainless. Good accuracy, good consistancy, smoothe bolt, but the plastic stock feels flimsy to me. When I squeeze the but end of the stock, i can see the stock flexing noticeably and I dont like that. An atermarket stock should correct the problem, and I've been meaning to get one for the past year, butI just haven't, so I guess it obviouslydoesnt bother me that bad, but it is an annoyance that sits in the back of my mind everytime i shoulder the gun.
