You guys are going to tease me but I would have to go with the brush bustin 30/30 but I had to vote for the .270

Depends on what I'm doing.. I guess since I prefer hunting larger game I'd say my favorite for that is .338 win mag..

Also like .308, 30.06, 22.250 and even 300 mag... But my vote goes to 338

I voted for the .308 because of it's legendary accuracy as a NATO cartridge and it's also a heck of a great deer slayer as well! [8D]

I voted for the 7mm mag,but I'm starting to like my new 45/70 more.

I have typically hunt with a .27 or .30-06, I voted .270 for an all around deer cartridge,
it is a Rem 700 mtn. rifle w/ a Leupold Vari XIII 3.5X10 scope, so I use it for going out west or open woods.
However, I use my Browning Bar (odd-6) when still hunting in the NH thick woods.
Too many good cartridges, I think you should start a thread on the worse cartidge.
You want to stir the poop start a thread on Chevy / Ford / Dodge / Toyota.
That will juice them up, ha-ha!
