Beautiful gun and nice caliber but wtf are they thinking on that price...lol. You gotta wonder whats going on when even the 770 has topped the $500 mark..... They have pretty much finally about priced me out of the 700 after 25 years of buying them.

It's only 1900 at my local Ganders mountain...I am sure it is well worth the price.

Thats an awesome rifle but does the engraved round look like the bullet is in cockeyed to you? At the bottom of the bullet and top of the brass.

the bullet appears to be seated crooked. If they are charging that much you'd think they could seat it in there straight, lol

I'm waiting for oldelk to say, "there is nothing straight about a remington, or the guys that shoot them."

Everything remington has made in the last five years is crooked. Ever sincerobots andmachines started making most of their guns.... I guess their tooling is jacked up.Their QC has gone absolutely in the crapper. If you doubt this, just pick up one of their new 1100s that now sell for over $1000 and look down the rib... I think I've seen one that might have been almost straight... were the beads not out of alignment anyway... most ribs are running from right in the rear to left in the front and are out a good 1/8"... sure it doesn't make a difference but when I'm paying $1000 I don't want to crooked f-in rib! Makes you wonder what else made it past QC checks....How about their new state of the art 105 CTi's that they never made enough of to really hit the stores? They brought two of them tothe DU outdoorsevent in Virginia the year they came out and I got to test fire them.... both of them were SINGLE SHOTS! Now there has been a recall and I haven't seen one come through our store in over 8 months. Heck even a couple of the 870s are coming out with problems.... how do you mess up an 870? Its like screwing up an anvil!
