In the winter time I will carry a full size auto, the weight and size do not bother me, but summer time my favorite is kel-tec p3at 380

I bought a bunch of 45 ACP ammo this evening. Funny thing is, I don't own a 45ACP. I also bought a bunch of 9mm ammo as well.

Now its becoming an easier decision.....:D

I carried a Kimber Ultra CDP II for a couple of years. A 1911 is a great firearm, but you need to stay proficent with it. There is a lot more to them than some other semi-autos.... extra safties and what not. They really are like a race car, you put someone in it who knows what they are doing, and they can do amazing things with them. But you put your average novice or someone who hasn't kept up with it... they won't even be able to make it fire.

I traded mine for a Beretta shotgun and $200 cash... considering what I got the gun NEW for... I came out about $150 ahead. I just don't have much use for one, and I couldn't hit anything with it anyway. I let a friend who shoots a lot of handguns shoot it... and he could shoot some fantasic groups with it... I just can't shoot a handgun very well...[:@]

I shoot an XD as my main pistol right now. So I'm used to the extra safety. I've shot quite a few 1911s over the years, I've just never bit the bullet on one yet.

Its going to be a tough decision now, between the Compact XD 45, the 1911s.....

My MainCW is the S&W 908 9mm...I just like 9mm what can I say,the CW40 is nice and my 45colt is ok but the 908 fits me better with the cloths I wear.....
