Hey Robert - I had pretty much the same quandry and discussion a month or two ago on a thread I posted about a new custom rig I'm going to have built. I still haven't decided on which cartridge it will be chambered for (.338-06 A-Square or .350 Rem Mag) and probably won't until the riflesmith calls me one day and says, "If you don't choose right now I am not going to build this gun for you!"
Even then, I will still probably change my mind a time or two and drive him completely nuts.
One thing I know for sure: I will be happy, no, ecstatic, with whichever one I choose. I will also always wonder if the other one isn't just a bit better. <img src=icon_smile_wink.gif border=0 align=middle>
