I think that if you really didn't want to buy it, or if you wanted to get talked OUT OF BUYING it, you would have asked the missus. You really wanted to buy it, that is why you asked this group of gun loving animals. you KNEW that we would tell you to buy it, and worry later. Notice, I said WE. I am in this group too. Go ahead buy it, don't regret it. You have wanted this for a while....

Hereis how I do it.I do not go near it or look at a picture of it for 21 days .By then I eather can't live with out it or I changed my mind or talked my self out of it. Kdvollmer it has been over 21 days and today I ordered the nightforse scope in the 5.5x22x50 thanks for the advice.

I have the Remington model 700xcr in 270wsm. and love it. Used it this last season and btook a deer with it. Have been shooting 6" dia. rocks at a lasered 500yds. with Winchester 150gr. Power Points. Very accurate. Get it,you need it and you will love it.
