RE: shooting slug with full choke?
I am not a slug shooter but I thought shooting slugs was a MAJOR mistake in shotguns with chokes? Am I wrong?

RE: shooting slug with full choke?
Only shoot slugs through slug barrels or barrels with Cyl, Imp Cyl, or Mod chokes. I wouldnt recomend using a Mod choke but you can.

RE: shooting slug with full choke?
I would not do it-never shoot slugs through a choke tube...The pressure will sky rocket...

RE: shooting slug with full choke?
Where I live is shotgun only deer hunting. For many years, hunters shot foster-type slugs out of whatever shotgun they owned. Many of those were full choked. Not very accurate, but I've never heard of anyone ever having a problem. Those"ribs" on the dead-soft lead slugs are designed to deform as they go through the choke.
