What kind of scope rings do you guyshave? Just curious to see what size I'm going to need because the hammer looks like it sticks up towards where a scope would be mounted. Any help is appreciated. Counting down the days...

The factory will adjust the trigger for you if you order one or want to send it back. Most do it when they send the reciever back to have a barrel fitted or something. I am quite sure a decent gun smith could do it for you as well. It's a pretty simple gun.

I have the 12 ga. USH delux. it comes with a hammer extension that helps clear the hammer from under the scope. I had mine out this weekend to sight it in (I have a Bushnell 3200 Firefly on it). I am not sure exactly which rings were used on it, but they do need to be high. Not REAL high though, mine is pretty tight, there is about 1/4" clearance from the top of the hammer to the bottom of the scope, and it works just fine with the hammer extension.
I didnt see this thread before, I started a new one just now asking about ammo for these guns. I sighted mine in with Winchester Supreme XP3 sabot slugs. I wasn't real happy with them though, and was looking to try somethign else. I will probably try the Winchest Platinum, Hornady and/or Lightfields.

I have a 12 Gauge and 20 Gauge (Both are laminates)
They are my best guns:
Sigted in with a vice with low wind conditions
My 12 Gauge:
100 Yards 2.5 inches high Zero @ 150 Yards - 6.5 inch drop at 200 yards (killed deer over 200 yards with this gun in low wind and a range finder) - Holding 3 inch groups at 100 yards all day. Hornady SST's (2 X 7 Leopold)
My 20 Gauge:
Same sighting info as the 12 gauge - Shooting Federal Barnes 265 gr. going 2000 fps. Killed deer at 190 with this one...
Love my H&R's....I could talk all day about them! Good Luck!!!

I honestly do not know where my H&R shoots at 50 yards with my gun set at 2.5 high at 100 yards...You're rising on the flight pattern so I would say the gun would be an inch maybe 2 below where you are set for at 100 yards...
