im am thinking of getting one but i want to know what you guys think about it

I just bought one in November, shoots great with bird shot for pheasants, and I bought a rifled barrel for it and got 4 deer with it this year, probably 200+ rounds thru it and never jammed or anything. We even deer hunted in the freezing rain opening day it had 1/4 inch of ice on it and I shot it ran right thru and kept shooting. My opinion great gun for the money.

jsb, what did you give for the rifled barrel? the only place I found one is off the mossberg website.

I gave $155 for it but I know a guy with a FFL and I basically get stuff at his cost, but I know when I bought mine wal-mart said they could get one for like $175 or so and if I remember right that is about what they were on the mossberg website

I personallly like a Franchi,but it is hard to really argue with the only military approved auto.
