Default what would you do, 96/22 with a red dot

I have a ruger 96/22, I put a red dot on it because that was the only extra scope I had. so what would you do?

Keep the red dot on it or go and buy a scope 3-9 X somthing and put it on it?

I don't know what I want to do

You could just send me the Ruger 96/22 so you won't have that worry anymore?

I prefer scopes on my 22 rifles.

I would say it depends on what you are going to do with the gun and how well you shoot it with the red dot. For a close range squirrel gun a red dot would be pretty nice in the woods.

If you already have it on the rifle - leave it on and try it. If you like it - leave it on, if y ou don't, or it doesnt suit your needs then take it off and go with a good quality scope
