can prolly find it cheaper elsewhere, but the 700 action is a solid action and very accurate

You can buy a brand new Tikka t3 30-06 from CDNN for 429 dollars..they will ship to your ffl..just tell them over the phone who it is and then work out the arrangement with your FFL.

I own the Savage 111, 30-06. Good gun, not very pretty but it shoots well. If you buy the package, you will have to replace the scope and the rings/mount. The rifle alone is about the same price as the package deal so you might as well go with the package deal.

Tikka T3's are great, but will probably go over your budget after you put on a scope. Savage are known to make good value guns that fit perfectly in your price range.
