RE: Looking to buy black powder revolver
Hair Trigger,
That surely is an enticing offer. My buddy has the same hand gun in satin stainless and loves it! I know what they go for "new" but I shall have to decline your offer. Thanks for your response however.

The first one is a 7 1/4" F. LLIPIETTA 44 Cal. I'd rate this at 98% over
all. A-1 grips.....no scratches......no dings.......no powder burns.......no minus bluing anywhere.....I only played with it one morning an spent the rest of the day cleaning it. Had it around 10 years. 125.00
CVA HAWKENS 50 Cal. Wood shows miner handling wear. 85 %...... I had to replace the brass screw's in the little brass plates where the lug goes
threw connecting the barrel to the wood, they are tin now, minus 1
screw......I used some high powered cleaner one time an put a couple runners on bluing, shows ever so slight pitting around the nipple area. The breech plug is fast, it will take heat to get it off, but it was like that when I bought it 10 + yrs. ago. Rifling is good as she is a good straight shooter.
I had it out this yr. while playing with another smoke gun. Rate the barrel
at 70+ %.... My percentages are probable on the low end....But I'm not going to mislead anyone. I need a 100.00 for this one.
The other is an ol' double barrel derringer. Very old! No scribing anywhere.
I believe it to be a 32 Cal. Both hammers still have strong springs an I
have popped some caps, but never threw a load out of it. Patina with quite a bit of light pitting on metal, I just throw the oil to it. This is a cool little gun an quite a conversation piece. 8" long over all. I have turned
down a 150.00, but willing to take that now.
E-mail me for pics. Prices are firm, as they eat no hay, so please, don't ask.
