Default 11-87 Slug barrel

Been thinking about buying a rifled barrel for my 11-87. What kind of results are everyone seeing with theres? And what loads are you using??

What would be the difference between a hastings 24 inch and a remington 21 inch???

Thanks

My dad has a Hastings on an 870. It made it into an absolute tack-driver. My brother has the Remmington 21 inch on an 870and it doesn'teven compare to theHastings.I wouldn't think that the 11-87 would be much different.

I have a Remington 23" rifled barrel with cantilever scope mount on a Rem 870 that works out real nice. I also have a Nikon Prostaff 2-7x 32mm scope mounted on it that I really like as well.

I have a hastings for my 11-87 it's ok I am always trying different brands of slugs to improve the performance. Since I never shot rifled sights much I mounted a scope on the receiver. It helped and have taken several deer with it.
