Every time you go hunting or get home, spray and rum down with a good rust preventive like corrision X,rusty duck, break free,or other brand. If rust has already shown up,use 0000 steel wool saturated with above product and rub until rust is gone.

Take the barrelled action out of the stock and spray it down with Eezox. Typically it dries in 1-2 days and fingerprints won't even show up. I thought the stuff was a hoax but my gunsmith recommended it and it even smells good almost girly. Typical application spray down the barrel assembly and wipe it dry. Then put a thin mist on the barrelled action and let it air dry. That's all there is too it.

Yes. What CMA says it the truth! Keep the ferrous parts covered with Birchwood-Casy SHEATH (BARRIER). Spray iton the metal parts when you get ready to go hunting, and swab the gun's metal parts with it after you get home. After cleaning the bore & chamber, swab out the bore with a patch saturated with it. The stuff dries quickly, leaving a microscopically thin coating of the rust-preventing chemical barrier in the pores of the steel.

I used it for theree years of hunting in coastal Alaska with blued steel guns, where it is foggy and rainy all the time and the air is full of sea salt. Never had any rust or corrosion on my guns. It does NOT change the bullet's point of impact like oil can. So you don't have to clean it out of the bore before shooting.
