for the two of you who posted above me if you cant handle the regular recoil get a differnt gun people shouldnt need any managed recoil loads or they are using the wrong caliber rifle.

Hi Wayne.
I read both posts again and still can't find where we said we can't handle the recoil. In fact I own a use a 7mag for deer. MR loads and handloading are viable ways to vary the loads for a particular cartridge.
There are many reasons to vary the loads, one of which is recoil but there are other applications also.
I and my young daughter can use the 7 Mag because she uses the MR Remington's.
Beware od Dawg,
The gun and scope you have amount to a great rig. There are plenty of choices in factory loads including the MR loads that RugerM77 mentioned that would be great for whitetail deer in FL or anywhere else. Enjoy and good luck

A 7mm Remington Magnum is wayyy too much rifle for Florida deer.
The 4200 scope is also wayyyy over kill.
I doubt if you needed anything more than a .243 with a 3 x 9 x 40 Bushnell Banner.
How much meat do you think you are going to have left from a 90 pound deer when you hit it with that Mack truck of a gun that you have?

Managed recoil ammo is dandy! In that 7 mag with Remington core-lok mr 140 grain your losing about 500fps and about 500flbs. That means at 300yds you still have 2000fps and 1300lbs of energy. If it shoots out of your gun well, shoot it.
How is this overkill? A quality scope is never "overkill". As far as a his gun being overkill, I will admit he may not need a 7mag to kill deer, but I wouldnt rush out to buy a new gun because this ones "overkill".
