Oh my gosh, it will shoot dimes at 500 yards, and shoots like a laser beam out to 1500 yards. You ought to buy one or two.[8D]

The .300 win. mag is a beast at any range up to about 1000 yards. And I have shot dimes and nickels up to 500+ yards, but mine is a Ruger M77 in .300 win. mag. So I dont no if yours will shoot the exact same as mine. Especially since I reload. I am shooting 5 grains over the limit so.........................

It's a production gun so expect production result without investing some time and money after you buy the gun. I have one and love it, it's the 700LSS and had the gun glass beded and free floated, and atrigger job. At 100 yardsit shoots Barnes Triple Shocks 3300 fps and .25 groups all day with a load of 77.7 RL22 and 165 bullets. I use Swift Scirroco's though and it shoots them 3300 fps and a .45 group all day also with 77.7 of RL22. Before the gun was beded and floatedthe gun would driftright with each shot due to contact with the stock on the heatingbarrel, a little sand paper reduced it but never stopped the drift problem (never will). Remington 700's are my fav rifle and you can't go wrong in my opinion.

You forgot about the laser beam trajectory up to 1500 yards.
