W0w that is a tough call SAKO

RE: new rifle choice
I'd go with the A-bolt of the three. I prefer a little heavier rifle to absorb recoil, decrease flinch, increase steadiness all adding up to better accuracy.

RE: new rifle choice
I would go with the A-Blot as well.

RE: new rifle choice
I'm a big A-bolt fan because of the 3 lug bolt and the 60 deg bolt throw. Plus every A-Bolt I have owned / loaded for have turned out to be excellent shooters. Only Browning I have not been able to cut holes with is an 1885 HighWall but I think it was because the barrel was too long for that caliber. But that's just me ;)
I'm NOT a Weatherby anything fan unfortunately. Have tried to work up loads for several Weatherby rifles in the past without much luck. I have been able to make them shoot okay but not as good as I would expect for such an expensive rifle. Probably just my own personal experience tho...I'm sure there are plenty who will swear by them. Sako makes a fine rifle. I don't own any but several people I know have then and they are very good shooters. |

RE: new rifle choice
Well, since a Marlin isn't on your list... I'd say go with the Browning.
