Browning A-bolt .223 WSSM
#1
Hi guys, last night I posted asking for some advice on a small lightweight rifle in 22-250, but for the most part, I got no advice. I went today and looked at some gun shops, and didnt find much I liked in 22-250, I found lots of Rem 700s in several models, but am wanting something small and lightweight. I did find a Browning A-bolt in .223 WSSM, it is a very light and small feeling rifle, it feels great in my hands and I really like the palm swell on the stock. It is really what Im looking for, but just not 22-250, whats everyone experience with this caliber, and this rifle, they told me its not a micro, but it looks and feels about the same size, the shop owner says he picked up several of these rifles on a closeout, and this is the last one, and he priced it at $450. It seems like a good price, and I like the way it feels, is it a good rifle, and caliber. Thanks

The only downside would be ammo prices. Atleast in my area 22-250 ammo is easily found and much cheeper than when I do see Wssm ammo.
If you reload or only shoot 3 or 4 boxes of ammo a year it would not be an issue.
Even if you do not reload you could sell your empties for $20 a hundred
